Apply For Training and Technical Assistance
To apply for SC PITC Network training and technical assistance complete the Application and mail or fax to the address listed on the form. All sections of the application must be completed in order for your application to be considered. You must be enrolled in the ABC Child Care Program to receive services. Priority will be given to programs that are at ABC levels A and B (enhanced).
Groups of at least five family child care providers may apply to receive training and technical assistance. One family child care provider in the group must serve as the primary contact person. That person is responsible for arranging meeting space and working with the infant/toddler specialist to distribute information and forms as needed to the other family child care providers in the group.

Incentives and Awards
• ENVIRONMENT ENHANCEMENT All centers participating in the SC PITC Network training are eligible to receive a $500 resource grant. Family and Group home child care programs are eligible for a $100 resource grant. These funds cannot be used for start-up costs, staff salary, nor any construction or improvements of buildings.
• CERTIFICATES OF PARTICIPATION Qualifying participants are eligible to receive a Certificate of Participation at the completion of the approved plan.

• INDIVIDUAL GROWTH INCENTIVES Qualifying participants are eligible to receive $175 upon completion of the SC PITC Network training and mentoring plan.
• LICENSING TRAINING HOURS All South Carolina PITC Network trainings are certified by the Center for Child Care Career Development and will provide DSS training credit so that all topic areas are covered.
