Yolan believes that early childhood is the most critical period in a child’s life. She prides herself on collaborating with other early childhood professionals to guide children towards becoming eager and active learners who are capable of discovering and creating knowledge. Yolan is also a strong believer that in order to effectively support other professionals, there needs to be collaborative reflection so all stakeholders will be genuinely inspired to meet the needs of young children. Prior to being employed by SCPITC, Yolan held various roles in early education and early intervention. She also received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Arcadia University in Pennsylvania. In her free time, Yolan likes spending time with family, reading, walking, and practicing yoga.
